Bobby Bailey – Ranch Operations Manager
Bobby is a retired Texas lawman who has over two decades of experience in wildlife/ranch management and guiding hunters from all walks of life throughout South and Central Texas. Over the years has developed a deep understanding of whitetail genetics, game management and conservation. For the past 18 years he has managed and hunted many different properties, working to improve the deer herds and, at the same time, striving to give guests the experience of a lifetime. He has worked with both seasoned and first-time hunters of all ages. Bobby loves everything the outdoors has to offer and loves to spend his free time hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He, his wife Emilie and their two girls live on the ranch full time taking care of day-to-day operations.
Emilie Bailey – Guest Relations
Emilie has a passion for food, cooking and entertaining that goes back to childhood. She has 25+ years in the food/restaurant/catering industry and expertise in Texas comfort food. During this time, she has catered a wide range of events from weddings to galas and other large events with 10-800 guests. For the past 7 years, Emilie has joined Bobby on hunting adventures and has been cooking and entertaining for groups of 2-20 hunters… she will make every effort to make sure your stay at Briar Oaks Ranch is unforgettable. In addition, she has experience cooking for a wide variety of dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, paleo, and gluten free just let her know if you have special requests. Emilie is also the cook/photographer/writer at Tales of a Texas Granola Girl, a food blog and website to share her love of Texas & Southern comfort food.
Herman Adair – Guide
Herman Adair has been in Law Enforcement for the past 20 years and has been hunting for the last 25 years, all here in the Great State of Texas. Herman has hunted Central Texas Hill Country to South Texas to the Texas/Mexico Border. When he’s not hunting, he’s on the Texas Coast soaking up the salt air on his boat, fishing with his wife and kiddos.
Jacob Reid – Guide
Jacob was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas and currently attends Angelo State University where he is a thrower on the track and field team. Jacob has been hunting and fishing since before he could walk and has hunted and fished all different types of animals and species of fish all over the state of Texas. He is passionate about wildlife and land management in an effort to produce the best habitat and wildlife possible. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys hunting and fishing with friends and family and is excited to be a part of the hunting experience at Briar Oaks Ranch.
